Today's Dilemma: To read or not to read-to think or not to think.....

I hail from India and am a virologist (an infection biologist) by training. From 2019 through 2024, I was able to do my doctoral research in Germany with the generous support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). I have been in Germany for the past five years, and in that time I have seen many cultural and behavioural differences between Germany and Bharat (India). The idea that these distinctions have influenced Germany's post-war progress struck me as profound. On top of that, I witnessed locals taking great pride in their heritage, language, and culture. I found myself reflecting on the state of Bharat and wondering how I could help my country progress by bringing back some of the wisdom, insight, and principles I've learned here. If Bharat's highly skilled individuals were to realise their full potential, the country would benefit greatly. But it broke my heart to think about the plight of Hindus in Bharat, even though they are the largest natives there. It became more and more annoying every day as I pondered it further. I quickly learned that keeping a journal was beneficial. But I kept to myself, and there was no place for other Bharatiyas whose hearts beat for Bharat to hear my ideas and opinions. Therefore, I have resorted to writing down my ideas. Vande Mataram!
